We've run into a situation where a SUPRTOOL extract is creating files in an
HFS subdirectory under an MPE group but the resultant ACD on the files
allows only @.@:RACD access, so no account users are able to read the
files. The job which creates the files runs as MGR.account (AM user), and
the account and group security over the affected subdirectory looks as
follows:
account security; all permissions granted to :ANY
group security: R,L:ANY; W,A,S,X:AC
I'm not very knowledgeable on HFS security matters, so I'm asking for help
solving this issue. This has also been sent to Robelle in the event it's a
SUPRTOOL-only issue.
TIA,
Lee Gunter
