HPEDIT is not a part of FOS -- you have to pay $$$ for it.

Best HP 3000 editor, bar none, is QEDIT (http://www.robelle.com).

Best "free" editor is either vi or QUAD, depending on your taste (or lack
thereof).

EDITOR.PUB.SYS is only slightly better than the old DOS EDLIN.

These are, of course, my opinions and are worth exactly what you paid me for
them.
