Hello

To add just a little info : I am a user of Winzip under Win95 (it runs
under NT too) and this software is able to read these following formats :

*.zip;*.z;*.gz;*.tz;*.taz;*.tgz;*.lzh;*.arj;*.arc;*.tar;*.exe; *.uu;
*.uue; *.xxe; *.bhx;*.b64;*.hqx

You can see some Unix extensions : *.uu, *.tar for example.

But I do not have tested, I do not have a DAT on my Nt station.

Regards

Stephane Lassire

Does NT understand Unix tar format? Maybe with the Unix Toolset
for NT that is from MKS (Mortice Kern Systems), like the Shell/iX?
In such a case I'd probably try TAR.HPBIN.SYS instead of FCOPY.

Lars.
