While in Australia last month I was handed a loaner CD-ROM from HP it
was dated Dec 1997.
I copied it to the hard drive on the laptop and brought it home. I have
now copied it onto my hard drive here at work and it is working.
I echo the sediments of remote sites needing a CD-ROM rather than a
network access. Network access may be fine for your office but on field
trips to the real back fields of this world nothing works like a CD.

My CD LaserRom for 5.5 part number is: 50726-10287 Nov 1996. The number
for HP supplies is (800) 227-8164. I don't remember the price. It will
be
replaced with Instant Information CD's when they are available.
