Now that it seems that we have the Usenet connection nailed down nicely,
CSILLC would like to make the following offer to current Usenet users, as
well as those who would like to use a Newsreader instead of e-mail:

CSILLC is debating a new service of opening our NNTP server for anonymous
access for posting and reading.  If interested, please read this ENTIRE
message.

The benefit of this service is that this server is the first one on the line
to receive posts from HP3000-L, and any posts you make will be sent to
HP3000-L within 15 minutes.  This will eliminate any lag time your provider
may have getting posts to the new Newsfeed (thank you Mark Bixby!).

If you have an interest in utilizing this service, which will be free of
charge, please e-mail me privately using USENET OFFER in your Subject Line
(so it goes into a special folder here).  If the interest is there, we'll
open it up for use, and send those folks expressing interest the information
they need for their Newsreaders, and instructions on finding a newsreader on
the Internet if you don't already have one.

NOTE THAT YOU MUST USE THE WORDS 'USENET OFFER' (without single quotes) in
the SUBJECT, or your message runs the risk of not being read.
