We have a 918DX here with DDS-2... we were given a choice of drives,
actually. We have a 927RX with DDS-1. Methinks that the "default" is DDS-2
or DDS-3, but you should be able to specify.
We cut all of our tapes for distribution on the DDS-1 drive so that they are
compatible. We've had a mountain of problems with people trying to read
tapes from the DDS-2 drive, so we just use that one internally.
