Scenario: I created a new Allbase environment in accountA where the related data base
resides, but I want to access it from a logon in accountB for queries only. Which
files in accountB need merely read access and which need write access. The dbe files
seem to need read access, as does the data base, but I suppose that the log file
needs write access. Anything else?
We encountered the following error message when we issued the first SELECT statement:
IMAGE/SQL error 130; TurboIMAGE error -1; TurboIMAGE intrinsic 401, &
Auxiliary error 93. (DBERR 13552)
"Auxiliary error 93" made me think of FSERR 93 or SECURITY VIOLATION. Intrinsic 401
is DBOPEN.We needed to get this moving so we took the sledge hammer approach and
released every file in accountA. Now, I want to go back and set up a proper file
security matrix to meet our needs for development and testing.
Thanks.
