Listers,

I have followed with interest the thread regarding printing directly to
JetDirect-ed printers from a MPE 5.5 machine.  While I have been
able to make the printers work, I do have one problem  -- the default
orientation is landscape, which we rarely use.  I have been able to
use the global setup_file in npconfig, but that is only read on a
startspool,
not very practical.  I have been able to control orientation with
control
characters, but it means I will have change most of my Quiz source to
add control characters to force portrait printing.  The printers are LJ
3 & 4M+
and both have portrait selected on the front panel.  What am I missing?
