Thanks Joe. We are trying to find an HP7980 manual (no luck so far) and
see what the various INFO settings mean and how to set them through the
CONFIG menu. We suspect that the operator changed something in the tape
drive configs, partly because he is convinced that he did, and partly
because the tape drive passes the power-on self test, but refuses to do
much of anything.
Does anyone have an HP7980 manual?
