I've installed SAMBAIX on one of our HP-3000s as a test project. I'm happy
to report that it installed without a hitch and works great. However, I
want to have a password on each share. I've been able to do this and it
works great on Windows 95 clients. The problem is, being a leading edge
type person, I have Windows 98 installed on my Desktop, laptop and home
computers. The passwords (actually MPE user passwords) are not recognized
from Win98. I get "invalid password" no matter what I do even though there
is no problem from the Windows 95 clients. Has anyone experienced this
problem? Is there a workaround or fix?
