Yes, there is a limit on the number of tables used within Information
Access.
Since Info Access is no longer supported by HP - their recommendations were
to utilize Cognos Impromptu and/or PowerPlay (I believe there were, at the
time, some "upgrade incentives" of the financial sort - I don't know if this
is the case now), Crystal Reports or Microsoft Access. All of these utilize
ODBC as its connection to the database.
