When I first browsed thru the list of CFE's, I too thought it would be
great to get
rid of the annoying file equate 'problem' with Dbutil.

After reading John's thought on why we should keep it as is, I agree with
him. Even 'experienced' folks make mistakes
(Did I say that???)  <grin>

I hereby withdraw my $5 on the Dbutil file equate and will spend it wisely
on another
irritant....

(Picture this.... you just issued a Dbutil erase command on a production
database. The blood drains from your
face. You turn white. Your heart starts pumping faster. Your phone starts
to ring. You feel sick...)
