Michael Hensley already mentioned Sendmail/iX and NetMail/3000,
I believe there are a few other vendors offering SMTP access,
AND -if you only need outgoing SMTP messages, for example let
a batch job send results or errors via eMail, and have some SMTP
mail server on your network already- there is the nice little
JTMAIL utility from Jim Wowchuck (if I recall correctly) which
is extremely easy to setup and use.

I just cannot remember the place where you can download it from.
