Can't check this from home, but somehow I'd expect to find itoa() somewhere
in the socket libraries like SOCKETRL.LIB.SYS or /usr/lib/libsock.a (or is
that in /lib/libsock.a?) -- any chances that your system has used some more
shared libs -oops- XL's from GNU context, like /.../libsock.sl or similar?
Or that someone has moved respective code into XL.PUB.SYS in the past?
