Wirt says (speaking about nuclear holocaust):
>While the danger isn't yet completely gone, the rise of technology, most
>especially communications satellites, spy satellites, globally available
>telephony, commercial globalization and the internet, has made the
prospects
>enormously less than they were just 25 years ago.
Does anyone know where (what time) the "doomsday clock" is at? I remember
for while it was at one or two minutes 'til midnight (midnight being global
thermonuclear war), but I know they moved it back a couple of minutes when
the Iron Curtain came crashing down.
