Thanks to everybody for the -o cdcase flag.  That took care of the ";1"
type problem when trying to read the cdrom from the hp-unix box.

I will have to mess around with Donna's suggestion regarding getting a
stdin type file with every filename in the "get ..." form.

More later since this isn't my day job and our network went screwy today
when I looked cross-eyed at some coax and I've been spending most of the
afternoon fixing that.
