I have been listening(reading) this indignant thread about spam and unsolicited 
advertizing entries and finally have to say a few things. <RANT>

1.  This list has FAR FEWER spam and unsolicited mail per message than any other
lists I have encountered on the Internet.
2.  This IS the Internet and can be accessed by any one of 40-50 MILLION users 
including the usual percentage of aggrevating list abusers.
3.  Jeff seems to do a fairly good job considering what we are paying him :)
4.  For every post of Spam or Unsolicited mail, I get 3-5 MORE COPIES from 
people complaining about it.  You re-post the whole darn thing.
5.  Judicious use of the DELETE key would be a much less wasteful use of our 
time and result in many fewer Spam containing posts.
6.  There is a proper way to sign off a list server and it has been restated 
enough times in the past month, I will not bother repeating it here.
