Olav,
I think a better solution is to get a generic telnet terminal server (like
cisco or xyplex) and just enable telnet server (if your HP 3000 is running
5.5) It is much cleaner and simpler than routable AFCP. One downside is
printing, but there are many TCP/IP printing solutions for MPE.
It is unfortunate that you can't put a TAC card in a DTC and configure it
with a workstation in port 0,0. With host base switching and inbound
telnet you would no longer need OVDTCMGR.
