Hi,
You can run the following command file in a job.
*****************************************
parm f1=60,anyparm f2= "*****"
setvar hpautocont,true
while true
errclear
recall
if cierror <> 3020 then
tellop !f2 there is a reply pending
endif
pause !f1
endwhile
******************************************
example
!job replyj,mgr.xxxx;outclass=,1
!comment
!replycmd 60,wakeup
!eoj
I hope this helps.

With a whole bank of conoles connected to several busy systems, a request
to mount the next tape can scroll off the console before it is noticed. I
do not think that such a request generates a message that requires a REPLY.
Short of a printing console, is there any MPE/iX level approach to, er,
"reminding" the operator that the next tape is needed? What about from
third-party land?
Thanks.
