HP has introduced a new metric for measuring the performance of HP3000s. The
old method of comparing all systems in a relative measure against the 918 (or
some other box) is no longer being used. The new method uses "HP 3000
Performance Units" and states a number for each system. As a result, some
performance figures were restated from the old metric to the new metric. Not
all systems have been converted to the new metric, however.

We have posted a new performance chart to our web site for your review:

http://www.internetcsi.com/edd.htm

this new chart includes the systems just introduced this month.
