This runs the contents of the temp under the shell, but that may not be
the part you don't have an explanation for.
I cannot remember the details, but one other 'cheat' I seem to remember
is the ability to invoke the shell to run a command passed to it on the
run sh command line, then return. While this still runs the command
within the shell, it would also run it in a single command line from CI,
which sort of does it from within MPE, but not from MPE alone.
