I don't know what the capacity will be, but one of the things you do have to
worry about if you are going to be writing files to tape based on how much
they COULD hold, is that with reel tapes, it is easy to trim off damaged
tape.

With DAT tapes or cartridge, etc, if even a small part of the tape is
damaged you just throw them away, but with reel you can just trim off the
damaged section, replace the BOT, and you are set.

If you don't do this at your shop, then you don't need to worry about it.
