Hi John,
You can buy (or have made) fonts for download from the HP.... they migh be
more expensive than a few more III si printers tho ...

Art "You never know ....... hehehe " Bahrs

Greetings from rainy Colorado!
The HP LaserJet 5 printers don't have plug-in font cartridges. I've been
using a Bar Codes and More plug-in cartridge in a LaserJet III si to print
Code39 and Postnet bar codes. Now, I need to start printing these bar
codes on a 5si printer because the III si will not handle the print volume
in the time available.
Is it possible to get soft fonts on the 3000 and download them to the 5si
as part of an environment file? If not, are there any easy solutions to
the problem besides buying a few more III si printers?
Thanks for any help.
John
