The session was held this afternoon in HP's Interactive Classroom, and
although not announced except for this forum, was attended by several
members wanting more information on some issues surrounding the use of ODBC
(driver independent --- one or more of them are affected).

The Powerpoint slides are available by e-mail for anyone who wants them. If
you do, please send an e-mail to me with the subject line "PP GOTCHAS", and
I'll send you the slides file. Note that it is in Powerpoint 97 format (the
latest version). If you need a version using an earlier version of
Powerpoint, please make a note of that in the request.

Taking a note from Denys' book - (for which I was guilt regarding the
HP3000-L lunch) - those who don't use the aboe captioned Subject Line, will
not be getting the return file, so be sure to place "PP GOTCHAS" (without
quotes) in the subject line. It makes it easier to get through the mail
that way.

Best Regards,
Joe
