I have an input text file that may or may not contain the characters ' or
". I need to take the input from that file and create a run statement as
in the following:

RUN ABC;INFO="passed input"

If there is a " in the file, then the above fails. Somehow I need to strip
out the ' or " characters. I have tried using the INPUT comand and then
some string manipulation commands but could not get around if the file
contained a ' character. I have tried using QEDit and an info string but
once again the combinations of ' and " throw me curves.

Anyone have any good ideas to remove ' and " characters from a text file,
all from the CI command prompt. I could write a quick program do it and
that is what I will have to do if I cannot come up with something.

Any help is appreciated.
