For files that can be texted into the EDIT/3000:

%EDIT fileset,CHANGE "AAA","BBB",ALL

There is a parallel QEDIT command.

Of course, you need Save access to the group.

Using MPEX, is there a way to change all occurrences of "AAA"
to "BBB" in a set of files?
