Well the latest supported version of Oracle on the 3k is 7.3.2.3.1, and
7.3.4.1.0 is in the labs, so that updates Justin.
Since Oracle 6 the database has stored date/time information using four
digit dates, the only reason Oracle 6 is not 100% Yr2000 compliant is
that, it does not have an input format that allows the user to key two
digits and for the century to be correctly deduced. BUT THAT ONLY
APPLIES TO ORACLE 6.
Oracle 7 has been completely Yr2000 compliant since V7.0.0.0.0 (If there
was one!).
For further information regarding Yr2000 compliancy, see the web page
http://www.oracle.com/year2000/2000/2000.htm
For further release information, contact the Midrange team if you are
supported by US support, or the VMS/MPE team if you are supported by
the UK.
Vince.
