We are printing to "non-PCL" printers via the MPEiX network printing
function.  (at least I think 2563 & 2564 printers are "non-PCL").

Here is the entry in NPCONFIG.PUB.SYS for these devices.

2000   (network_address = 111.222.333.444
        setup_file = resetlp.util.sys
        TCP_port_number =9100
        PJL_SUPPORTED = FALSE
        JAM_RECOVERY = FALSE)
#   2563C - siteA

2001   (network_address = 111.222.333.445
        TCP_port_number = 9101
        setup_file = resetlp.util.sys
        PJL_SUPPORTED = FALSE
        JAM_RECOVERY = FALSE)
#   2563C#2 at siteA

2002   (network_address = 111.222.333.446
        TCP_port_number = 9102
        setup_file = resetlp.util.sys
        PJL_SUPPORTED = FALSE
        JAM_RECOVERY = FALSE)
#   2564A at siteA

We have been using this for almost a year with no problems.
There is a JetDirect 3 port box connected to the local LAN,
which is connected to the 3K via Frame Relay.
