Actually, I wrote an XML article for the August(?) Interact. I threw in
some possible ideas for MPE/iX. Personally, I believe that we will see XML
documents used for remote procedure calls since the data is so object-like.
Since the 3000 is such a transaction oriented machine, I think it will fit
in the XML world quite well. There is already an Apache module for XML.
What is needed however, is some framework or model - e.g. MS Transaction
Server. That will drive development.
