We have just been having a great time with this. Since our HD crash
happened, we tried to do a reload from out DLT tape that was created
with vanilla STORE, and guess what. We get about half way through the
tape and it starts failing with rewind errors. Restore failes, Vstore
failes, but Store didn't report a single error.

Since our DLT drive was configured as a DDS drive, supposed to use
Orbit, which we don't, HP is claiming we made non-standard use of the
drive, and won't help us now. When we configure as a DLT4000 the
restore time is now taking 3 or 4 times as long.

Anyone have any thoughts? If you are using DLT, and don't have Orbit,
but are using STORE, you should try restoring a file that is towards
the end of a very large backup and make sure it works.
