I seem to remember hearing that predictive could be configured to use
internet e-mail as its method of transport.  I think my ASE told me this
(of course he might have been refering to the unix side).  Anyway, I didn't
persue it because we don't have a fulltime connection to the net (yet).  I
imagine that the cost savings to HP could be substantial.
