We are running Orbit's Online Backup under MPE/iX 5.5 and have a
problem with the sync point. We have defined the sync point as 12.40pm
(ie lunchtime) and this is usually OK. However, sometimes backup has
not finished storing files at 12.40 and therefore carries on. When the
store has finshed, it should wait until 12.40pm the next day, but it
doesn't. It immediately suspends all processes and the backup
completes. If this is in the middle of the afternoon, our users get a
bit upset.

I've spoken to Orbit on a number of occasions, but they have yet to
come up with any solution.

Has anyone else had this problem?
