DDS3 > DDS1 compatibility.......

We have recently installed some DDS2 & DDS3 drives on our system, in addition
to our older DDS1 drives. We held onto the DDS1 drives for  compatibility, as
we need to send data to some of our other Computer centres and they still have
DDS1 drives.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way of enabling the DDS2 & DDS3 drives to
write in DDS1 format.
