We just had this same problem on one of our Windows 95 machines.  It
appears to be a problem with CTL3D32.DLL located in /WINDOWS/SYSTEM.
Our PC had version 2.31.0.0 when we installed version 2.29.0.0 the
problem disapeared and every thing seem to work ok.
