Further to my earlier post, I should have emphasized in the final scenario
that the DNS-client-enabled-DTC is a requirement on theHP3000 end of the
WAN - not the remote DTC's.

In other words, you need not replace all your DTC's - only at most one on
the same segment as the HP3000.

Hope that avoids any further confusion.
