Hello Everyone,

I'm submitting this question for a co-worker, so I hope I've got it right.

We recently upgraded our payroll software, and as part of the conversion
process three comp-3 fields were combined to create a 12X24 array (don't
know why). When using Query, the contents of the array appear as follows:
MONTH-ERN-DETAIL ='NULL ITEM'
                 ='NULL ITEM'
                 ='NULL ITEM'
                 ='NULL ITEM'
                 ='NULL ITEM'
                 ='NULL ITEM'
                 ='NULL ITEM'
                 ='NULL ITEM'
                 ='NULL ITEM'
                 ='NULL ITEM'
                 ='NULL ITEM'
                 ='NULL ITEM'

We know there's 'real' data there, since the front-end (proprietary) of the
payroll package (COBOL) allows us to see it. We'd like to write a Speedware
(5.x) report, but we don't know how to access the data in those 'null item'
fields. Any suggestions? (I've already checked the hp3000-l archive)

Thanks for any help.
