FWIW, my experience with Microsoft's add on for Office 95 to let it
convert Office 97 documents has me pleased. I downloaded this from their
Office 97 download site. Had I not known what to look for, opening a
small Word 97 document in Word 95, I would not have known that anything
at all different was happening from opening a Word 95 document. Pity
Quikview and WordPad are unaffected by this, and cannot open a Word 97
document.
