If you're gun shy, you can still use AUTOPAT, it worked just fine for us
going to PP4. 'Course, you don't get the nice features of Patch/iX, but
for us the security of working with a known process on a system upgrade
(5.0 to 5.5 PP4) tilted the balance in favor of AUTOPAT. I'll try
Patch/iX sometime when I'm just doing a couple of patches, when it's
perhaps not as critical a situation as an OS upgrade and I can afford to
take the time to learn the new process.
