Subject: Re: Want two consoles

Mark and others,

the requirement is not to just see console messages. It is also to be able to
remote boot if needed, and see system failure messages (now what are the odds
of that?), etc. So, in essence, two functional consoles. They will be
seperated by a good 1000 miles plus.

So, would remote console work for this? I am not familiar with the newest
machines (say for example a 997). Can I keep remote console up all the time
(24 hours a day), and use both (though one at a time)?

I hate to sound like a broken record, but the Telamon solution does all this.
