In talking to the HP RC about some patches, I asked the
SE what the latest best guess was on when MPE 6.0
would MR.  Voicemail answer a day later (I quote exactly):

"Around 4th quarter 98".

Note that "around 4th quarter" is a pretty big window.  I
would also guess that it's a pretty good bet it will not be
before 4th quarter....  Seems like I recall at one time
rumor had it 3rd quarter might be a possibility;  so 6.0
might have slipped a bit....
