Jeff Kell correctly stated one of the firmest IMAGE Commandments:

> Thou shalt not store/restore individual datasets.

and added:

If you happen to have HP's DICT/3000, it comes with a couple
nice utilities:  DICTDBU and DICTDBL, for unload-to-flatfile-on-disc
and reload-to-dataset.  They keep all those zillions of IMAGE
pointers and etc. relationships straight;  and can be used at the
individual dataset level.

To verify whether or not you have DICT/3000, just do
LISTF [log in to unmask]  If you have 14 files there that start
with DICT, you've got it....
