Sorry about that earlier message.  I had put the original aside to respond
later & accidentally sent it.  Netmail/3000 by 3k can do what you want.

                                How about using some kind of mail system
where the user requests the
                                report, it gets printed and converted to
plain text then moved to a mail
                                system for later pickup by the requestor.
