Most Knowledgeable listers:

I seem to be in a quandary.. I have always been able to count on MPEX to do wildcard purges across the Netbase interface to our shadowed system ; but now that we can do a Purge [log in to unmask] through MPE ( We are running 5.5.02 on both systems) ...the files are not being purged from the shadow system. The files are removed from the master, but remain untouched on the shadow system- without even an error or update in the NBLOG.PUB.Netbase. What is more confusing is that if I go on to the Shadow machine to clean up these files ( doing a Purge ), I get an " < file name> does not exist on this system" message in the NBLOG.
It seems that the shell is not intercepting the purge command when done with a wildcard...but I cant see what the bid difference would be . Any knowledge or wild guesses will be equally appreciated.

Thanks,
