Sorry about the subject line but I could not resist.

We are an Amisys client who is planning to upgrade and the classic
question has come up. What do we upgrade first, the chicken or the
     egg?

     Details:
     Amisys: V8.20
     MPE: V5.0
     Cognos: V7.29C5

We are planning on upgrading to Amisys version (and therefore)
     upgrading all other software.

     The main questions are:
     1. Can we run Amisys version 9.X on 5.0?
     2. Can we run Amisys version 8.2 on 5.5?
     3. Can the current version of Cognos run on 5.0?

Any comments or suggestions would be more than welcome.

     Thanks in advance,

     Barry
