Time flies.

Adager began more than 20 years ago, in early 1978, to handle IMAGE/3000
databases (way before TurboIMAGE and IMAGE/SQL). In the early days, IMAGE
databases had just a few megabytes. Now, we have intercontinental Adager
customers with hundreds of gigabytes of data in their TurboIMAGE and
IMAGE/SQL databases. When you add all of the databases for a single Adager
customer in the top-size category, you begin to deal with terabytes!

My kids were asking me how much information has gone through Adager's
buffers throughout the world in the last 20 years and I thought I would ask
my colleagues on HP3000-L. What units should we use? Discussing things in
terms of terabytes seems a bit inadequate nowadays. Any guesstimates you
can provide would be highly (no pun intended) appreciated.
