For those going to HP World '98 (from the logo, I didn't think there was
a space in "HP World," but a caption on a photo shows there is),
it may be worth taking notes:

        Tuesday, August 4 @ 2:30 - 3:20pm
        Harry Sterling
HP 3000: The Next 25 Years

Changing the subject slightly ;) the conference appears pretty
comprehensive, if overwhelming. (These things haven't become
any less expensive, have they?!)

Unfortunately, the brochure lists descriptions for everything
*except* the papers, for which only the title/author/company
and "technology focus" (e.g., "emerging technologies") are shown.

Judging from the list of speakers, panelists, and SIG leaders,
most of hp3000-L will originate from the conference.
