Only "failed" file opens are logged unless the Security/IX product
is also installed on the system. As Bill pointed out, turning on the
File Close events gives a better (although still somewhat inaccurate)
picture of things.

The only thing I know of that will trap everything is SAFE/3000
from Monterey Software Group although your back again to a software

You could switch on file-open logging in sysgen/lo, and examine the
logfiles for file type 144 (I think).
