Dear listers,
Today on our 3000 We had a strange situation whereby some users that
were connected to the system lost their connection and could not
subsequently reconnect using Reflections VT-MGR, at the time the
problem occurred We had about 141 active sessions with a session limit
of 160 and the VT SERVER limit was at 300 We also got the following
message appearing on the system console :-
** NS/3000 INTERNAL ERROR IN VT; Job: 0; PIN: 407; Info: 0
- Error 12; Error Reported by VT
- VT error : 39; REMOTE NOT ACCEPTING SERVICE REQUESTS
In order to try and fix this problem We stopped and restarted Network
Services and allowed users to log back in, so far We haven't had a
recurrence of the problem (touch wood) and the system has been back up
for about 20 minutes at time of writing, however, I'm still curious as
to whether anyone on the list has any idea what this message actually
means as I couldn't find it in the NS3000/iX Error Messages Ref..
Manual, any insight would be appreciated.
Go raibh maith agaibh ! (Thank You as Gaeilge (Irish))
Niall.
