We trying to get gcc to install. The classical helloworld program produces the
following:

shell/iX> gcc helloworld.c
WARNING: /tmp/cca665071.o HAS FILECODE 0

collect2: cannot find `nm'
gcc: Internal compiler error: program ld got fatal signal 1
shell/iX>

Has anyone found the fix for this problem? Or, if you have gcc working, do you
have the program 'nm' on your machine, probably in /usr?

thanks
