I meant Apollo.  I thought about AT&T first, but discarded them when
I realized that our RS6000's AIX has 0 as the initial value for
timezone ... and it probably has a fair degree of AT&T heritage as well.
So if it wasn't AT&T, who (on the east coast) could we blame?  :)
